Membership

Membership is just £25 per year running from April to March. This gives members access to the interest groups, free entry to the monthly meetings with speakers, free National on-line learning/podcasts and copies of the national u3a magazine: u3amatters. All this with the opportunity to meet people and make new friends.

If you are also a member of another u3a the annual fee to join Daventry & District is £21.

Note: Joining between October and March has a reduced fee of £15.

Contact us by using the link below or download a new membership application form by clicking on the link below. The form has to be printed off completed and signed. Please do not complete electronically. Details of where to send it are on the form. Or you can attend our general meeting, look under events page to check to next one.

How to renew your membership

An email will be sent to you shortly before renewal date to remind you. A renewal form is no longer required but we do ask that you please let us know of any changes at all in your personal contact details. You can do this in person at a monthly meeting, or contact the membership secretary by clicking here: Member query

Annual fees are £25 (£21 for Associate Members)

We offer the following payment methods; cash, cheque, card or bank transfer (BACS).  

Cash or cheques (payable to Daventry & District u3a) can be sent to the Membership Secretary, Mrs Jan Townend, 4 The Greenway, Daventry, NN11 4EE.

Cash, cheque or card payments can be taken at our monthly meeting on Thursday, 16 April 2026. 

BACS payments should be made to Daventry& District u3a, Sort Code 30-92-55, Account Number 24511160**

**If choosing this option please put RENEW and YOUR MEMBERSHIP NUMBER in the reference box. You can find your membership number at the top of emails sent by the Chairman or Membership Secretary. This will help our Treasurer to identify which member has made a payment.

Change of personal details

If you move home, change your email address, change your telephone number, or change your emergency contact details please let us know by sending a message to Member query

Membership Number

From renewals in 2024 we will no longer be issuing membership cards. However, your membership number will be written on the back of your programme and will appear in emails from you Chair or Membership Secretary
