Our group meets on a Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm every other week.

We subscribe to a French magazine which is specifically for groups like ours and contains interesting articles, puzzles and grammar tutorials, there is also an accompanying CD to practice our listening skills. To stimulate conversation we have quizzes, play readings and pieces prepared by the members.

In summer we have a garden party around Bastille Day, hopefully that will take place this year, and at Christmas we have a long French lunch which lasts until we have to light the candles.

At the moment we have a dedicated group of 10 members, which we believe is the ideal number for letting everyone take part in the meetings. There is now a second French Conversation Group, so please get in touch from the 'French Conversation 2' page if you are interested in joining.
